Jaali

Jaali is a young communications officer working for the Lemurian Embassy in Tritonia. There he spends his time relaying information to nearby “listening stations” via Magic Pigeon. Although he is low ranking and relatively unimportant in the grand scheme of things, his position means he is privy to a lot of sensitive and personal information that comes in and out of the embassy.
Before his current occupation as a scribe for the Lemurian Government, Jaali was a promising young Lemruian Sorcerer. Unfortunately, a lurid affair with his mentor upon becoming a young teenager resulted in a massive scandal and her imprisonment. With his mentor in prison Jaali could not complete his training in the mystic arts (although he still considers it a fair trade off). Following his master’s incarceration, he attempted to complete his studies on his own but fell short. Unable to become a true sorcerer, Jaali decided he would instead peruse his other other great passions, pretty girls and far off places.
